1 Pickton Farm & The Evidence Destruction

The April 2026 evidence destruction — approved while the Carney Liberal government holds federal oversight of the RCMP — means physical evidence from one of Canada's worst serial killer cases will never be independently examined again. Families of victims opposed this. They were overruled.
